That's right. The 2000 4 cylinder was only manufactured 01/01/1962-12/31/1964. There are 2 different 2000 Industrial types. Like JoeK says be sure about the hydraulic and PTO set up. Our local county road dept had some of the 2000 that did not have hydraulic systems but they had a PTO to use trailer type finish mowers in our parks. If there is a NH dealer around you can give him your 2000 serial number for advice on which manual you need. NH# 42200021
