Red Dave is right-there should be 2 of 'em. Ifna I remember right, the little one is the generator resistor & the big 'uns fer the lights. (No diagram neither, so ain't fer sure.) The lites'll work only on bright w/o one, but generator won't work right ifna its resistor is shot. When ya work on the lites, remember, CLEAN, BRIGHT & TIGHT. Them 6V lights just don't like no rust nohow, 'specially around the brackets. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
