Nope, pretty sure they were straight universals
female each end. What made me remember was the small size, I was thinking how easy it would be to make a 4X4 AT with the small joints.

Tell you what , I'm headed past the store on the way back to the farm and I'll drop u a line. Seems to me they stock the same everywhere.
All you'd need to do is bore a hole for a pin each end, or if male, weld on a pipe
bushing over the shafts. Anyway I'll get back.
