Updating a 1937 JD B

Well, since (at least what I can find) the earlier models came without the convienience of hydro, 3pt., and elect. strt. Can one sucessfully modify one. More importantly can it then be remodified to its original condition? Also, would a "B" be enough tractor to tend 10 acres of hay? I am a first timer and have found a real nice, close to home (save shipping), clean 37 JD B but am a bit concerned about being able to implement it for my purposes. I find more tractors than implements. I'm also a bit apprehensive about the safty of the flywheel starting system (being inexperienced and all). If I can do this...is it expensive?
