Hi Don,
If you are a restorer and cannot tolerate anything less than perfection, probably poly-eurothane (spelling) to return the deck to luster and shine. If you are into preserving for work purposes, I like Thompson's Water Seal. It is really only kerosene or paint thinner with wax. If you are looking for cheap, go with diesel fuel mixed about half and half with used motor oil. I use this on barns and out building that are not made with treated lumber. Good luck.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead!
