It's standard practice to fudge (fake) profits that don't occur to keep a business afloat, and not have it convert to a hobby (IRS laws).

So you sell eggs out of your place. The number of eggs you sell, and how much you charge is up to you. The records are your own.

I assure you, the IRS is not going to audit you for paying them extra taxes. They are not going to show up to count chickens and estimate laying rates and such.

At which point you've got paper record of the profit required to rezone agricultural.
