Slimjim,
I always pulled a 4-16 semi-mount behind my WD45 in second gear. Weighted with traction boost, only in gumbo would I have to put it in low gear. I put 2 size oversize tires on and could more than keep up with a D17. The D17 with the power director clutch would do better getting through the gumbo though, where I had to stop to shift. Duey
