Kile, please before you try anything else run a compression check. I had gas foaming out of the air intake of my Ford 850. I figured the worse. Head, pistons, rings, everything that cost money. I notice my oil was ok after I let it set. Water was ok. I was lost so I started with a compression check and found it was alright. I fixed the problem by turning off the gas when the thing wasn't running. This ended my problem. Also increased my gas milage. For some reason I can't explain the gas was draining through the carb to the crankcase. This was two years ago and I haven't had a problem since. UNLESS I left the gas on. Then it would flood, poor out on the ground, or in the crankcase. I know I should rebuild the carb but I had that done and it still leaks. No problem if I shut the gas off when not in use. This may not be your problem but it don't cost nothing to find out.
