OT small farm utility vehicle

A small vehicle to haul a few bales of hay, run down the 1/3 mile driveway to deposit the trash cans, pick up mail and carry some tools and supplies to fix fences etc. BUT need for two passengers. Darn ATV's and Mules are so $$$$. golf carts on the other hand can barely haul their own weight with two adults. Saw a cushman truckster for sale. 1500lb payload cap. The guy selling it didn't know much, maybe twenty years old. Seemed to run ok, 3 spd, 22hp. Anyone know anything about their dependability or fixability?
