If you're posting here, maybe you like making old machines work again. Excessive wear in the ways takes hand scraping (high skill) but most of the other restoration takes only moderate skill but can be time consuming. The lathe can do much of its own repair. For example, a tooth can be put back on a gear by welding and filing using layout blue and the mating gear.
