the bales that are made in the far west,west of phoenix arizona,are 3 wire bales that usually measure 16 x23 x44 and weigh around 125 lbs.from phoenix on east,and i believe washington state the bales are 14 x 16 0r 16 x18 x44 and weigh up to 80 lbs.you can use around a 50 hp tractor with pto to make the smaller bales but,when your baling the larger bales at about 3 to 4 a minute you need a baler engine
