Good advice in previous posts. It is possible to accurately hand ream pin bushings but it requires a good quality, sharp reamer and quite a bit of skill and experience. Using a hone is somewhat easier but still requires care to get the bushing the correct size all the way through. Regardless of how it's done, you need some way to check the rod alignment afterward.
