I don't think that a hand reamer could be acurate enough to do the job tolorance's in an engine are not something to mess with. it must be straight and alligned. We had a rod go through the side of a perkins 354 because some moron tried to cut corners and not do the rods right. we bought the machine and the engine lasted 20 hours. that cost over $4000. You can try but i would try to find somewhere else to save.
