Dell, Please don't misunderstand my "anti-specifications". When I say I don't want a trip bucket, I mean that I prefer a fully hydraulic bucket that allows me to rotate the bucket up and down with hydraulics. A trip bucket would work, but a hydraulic one is easier and faster to work with. I suppose if the price was right I could get along OK with a trip bucket. As for the other stuff, 3pt hitch and PTO, there's nothing wrong with having it except that I don't want to pay extra for it if I don't need it and am not going to use it. I'm trying to find something cheap, and things like 3pt hitch and live PTO tend to run the price up. You’re right when you say I need a skid-loader, but they are too expensive for me. I'm hoping to find something for a few thousand dollars. For example I saw this ad: 1955 Oliver Super 77 rc, factory wide front, power steering,3 pt,Oliver 29 loader & hyd. bucket, gas, runs great Condition: excellent, but unrestored Price: 3800 and this ad: 1948 Minneapolis-Moline RTI-serial# 54800243 w/Lull loader-4 bucket--totally hydraulic,2,500 pound lift capacity--13.00x24 tires with wheel weights inside & out--Rebuilt motor Condition: good Price: 1800.00 I think the Oliver would have live PTO, which is nice but I don’t need it. I’m not real familiar with Minneapolis-Moline, but I’m guessing that it doesn’t have a 3pt hitch or live PTO. So, I’d be more interested in the Minneapolis-Moline than the Oliver since it’s much cheaper. The reason for this post is to find out a list of tractors makes and models that would be similar to the tractors in these 2 ads.
