wico magneto

I was helping a buddy clean out his shed before he moved out of state. He had a magneto that he had tossed into the dumpster. I asked if he minded if i took it and he told me to go ahead. I brought home a half pickup load of "treasures", saving the stuff from the landfill. Now I have a magneto that I have know idea what it's for. It's a Wico, Model X, Type XH184, SN 227791. Anybody out there know what it's for? He also had a 2 cyl Wisconsin that I hauled back, but I'll get into that at a later time.
