another thing to look at is the drawbar. if the hole is all egg-shaped, it's probably seen it's share of hard work. it doesn't tell you anything about hours, but is a good indicator of the work it's seen. unless you really know and trust the previous owner(s), the hour meter means absolutely nothing.
