all the old favorites will produce some cash, but your not going to get rich. in fact even with a free farm, its going to be tough to pay for equipment. maybe one of the local boys will plant you some sweet corn to get going with. I suggest greens if your near a populated area with a farm market, its an under produced crop, that has a high yeild, although it sells cheap, mustard, collards, etc, i did very well on them for a few years. all depend on location, and need for your goods. if there is a good old boy with a truck farm within 5-10 miles FORGET IT. he is living off the local demand, and you will both starve, best let him eat, he was there first.
