Hi Terry, As always, this is just my opinion only. If I had plenty of money so that I could afford a tractor with a belly mower and never do anything else with it, then I would buy one. I don't, so I chose the best situation for me. I need a mower, plow, boom, disc, trailer and other attachments. Mowers included a rotary mower(commonly called bushog) and a finish mower. All these attachments work work well, some better behind tractors other than my 8N. Back to your question, I saw a post about a month ago on the N board of a fergie or N that had a belly mower attached. From what I could tell from the photo, the yard was small and level. Good luck.
