diesel fuel dump/leak after engine shutdown????

RE: 401 cid ford diesel. After engine shut down, there is a fuel dump/leak that comes out of a small black plastic tube that appears to be connected to the back side of the fuel injection pump (MIMIMICK (sp?)/CAV system). This tube just extends down to the tractor frame rail below the injection pump. It appears to be connected to nothing on this end; its just open-ended and drips on the ground. It will leak about a pint +/-, then it stops. No apparent leak while in operation, just after shutdown. This undoubtly a dangerous situation. Does any body have any ideas what's causing this? How to repair, etc.? Thanks in advance for responses!
