Well Woodbeef, the Finnish tractors certainly do look impressive--they seem to have a lot of features that make them competitive with most of the prominent makes from this side of the pond as well as the European and Asian makes.. I'll keep an eye out for them at the shows I go to and investigate them closely when I see them. I guess I'm handicapped in my thinking by old fashioned loyalty to things made here in the American and Canadian factories. I do wish the Finnish enterprises every chance for success in the world marketplaces and I have always admired the Scandanavian people for their perseverance and tenacious ability to achieve realistic goals. But, I'll always enjoy the character of the American built tractors of the bygone years and look at the contemporary versions with the same optimistic attitude I've always had. "Made in the U. S. A." still impresses me, probably more now than ever really. I'm an old, old fashioned American with that old fashioned idea. It's even hard to accept American brand names and colors on tractors made overseas for me, even though I know the money is "processed" over here.
