Mark, I have an AC "B" with belly mount sickle mower. Here is an excerpt from the mower manual regarding lubrication:

"....make certain proper lubrication is in evidence at all times: lifting mechanism, knife head ball, wear plates, knife clips, etc., should be oiled at regular intervals in the field, every hour if mowing under extreme conditions"

That is in addition to the regular grease fittings elsewhere on the mower that need to have regular lubrication...but that should be more obvious.
