I was driving our Case 730 we used to have, and a small piece of metal flew out of the muffler(we had it cut down low to fit in the barn) and went into my eye. Long story short, it was NO fun having to go to the eye doctor every 3 days for 2 months. I didn't have it checked out till 24 hours after it happened, and that was my big mistake, as my eye had absorbed lots of rust and carbon. Had to strap my head down on a table and clamp my eye open, then take a needle and remove the piece of metal, it was good sized, then had to go to a specialist the next day who also strapped my head and clamped my eye so he then take a little bitty drill and drill out all the flesh in my eye that had sucked up the rust-can't use anything to numb the pain cause apparently that will mess up your nerves in your eye or something, and it hurt like hech! I don't wish that on anybody. Messed up my perifial vision good in my right eye, my shooting eye of all things. I'm not saying I should have been wearing safety glasses or anything, just saying getting metal in your eyes is no fun.
