At the very least, you need a new tube. I wouldn't mess around with patching. AS for the rim, it's got to be cleaned up and real thoroughly. Take the tire completely off and clean the rim inside and out. Can't hurt to make sure the tire bead is clean, too. If needs be, sandblast and paint can't hurt. If the corrosion around the stem is bad enough that it might wear or cut the stem, I'd weld a larger patch over the old hole, inside or out and bore a new hole for the stem, being sure to clean up any burrs or edges. If the corrosion is worst around the stem, there's a pretty good chance there's a leak right there. Don't forget to unload the other tire. Good luck! Scotty
