I know what you mean, wanting to plow with a mounted plow on a JD model M. It allows you to get back into the corners and turn the soil. But, I mounted the two-bottom plow, and I bought the operators manual. I see that starting out, you adjust the large screw on the plow's front right hand side to level the plow as was mentioned in an earlier post. After you plow the first slice and the tractor is running in the furrow, the screw that leveled the plow with both right wheels out of the furrow, now goes the other way and levels the plow with one set of wheels IN the furrow. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
