I find that I just have to get in on this one. John Deere is not the only mfg. co. that sent tractors to Cuba. Allis Chalmers had a line that went, too. It was just like the WD, I think, but had no battery, starter or lights. If I remember reading the WD (or WD45) operators manual, it had no rubber tires on it either. Only a machine that one could start in the field without much extra maintainance. You could probably find a bunch of the old hulks around the farm land in Cuba, today.
