The answer is: it depends. The Ford 800 series (1955-1957) had several models, all of which had live lift hydraulics and one of which (860) had live PTO. The Ford 801 series (1958-1962) had at least one model with live PTO (861), and two models with Select-O-Speed transmissions and independent PTO (871, 881).
