I use a TO20 Ferguson to split wood . Has enough pressure 2000lbs. but the volumn is lacking. I use a 4" cyl. on the down stroke and a much smaller cyl. for the return stroke. Have used it for over 20 years and if working by yourself it goes ok. If you have a crew and want to split a years supply of wood in a half day you won't be happy with the slow speed. Takes about 15-18 seconds on the 24"downstroke.
