My friend built hundreds of trailors of all types. He is in that business.
He always builds them with the center of the axle or axles 6" behind the center of the deck of the trailor NOT includeing the tongue.
Only exception is on a spl. aplication trailors.
I've built 3 of them the way he does it, and they pull perfectly!! Includeing the trailor in the picture.
