Just my opinion, but my Dad had one and it was a good tractor. It had power steering and a 5 speed trans.Pulled 3 14s in gumbo all day and never had much trouble except the generator went out.The things I didnt like were that it sat low,in the dust all the time, needed fluid in the tires, and that one didnt have sleeves in the engine.I dont know if they all were like that or not,but that was in the late 60s so by now those tractors would have a lot more hours on them, and a block without sleeves? If it was taken care of,I would say its a lot better than a 9n or a 600,but if its wore out, might not be fixable for very cheap.Like the others said it depends on what you want to do with it.Those tractors seemed like they ran a brush hog good,so do small John Deeres,or Massey Fergusuns,or any of the tractors the same size. What I see prices of them going for you could probobly have bought 2 of them for new. They are what they are,a 3 plow tractor, but if you want to plow there are better tractors for the money to do that with.If you want to run a brush hog and its got power steering then there arent a lot of them that are better, especially if you have steep banks to mow.I see a lot of tractors like that with loaders on them,I guess they are good for that too.

Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You
