the engine is a wet sleeve design. We planned on blocking off the lower water outlet of the block and using the penetrant by filling the water jacket around the cylinder so that it could penetrate around at least the bottom of where the sleeve fits to the block. Also we have to be careful as there are no replacement sleeves to use in the engine, I am stuck with what I have, i only want to replace them so I don not get water in the oil.
