It does get warm(above freezing) in summer as the days are 24hrs long being this far north. For extra cooling we always carry a load of ice left over from the previous winter in the box incase it's needed.
The rest of the year we park the trucks/cars then use dogsleds, four wheelers & snowmobiles.
