Robert, Your Case SC was considered a two plow tractor. It has a 3 1/2 x 4 153.9 cu in engine rated at 1550 rpm. It was tested in Nebraska test 367 22.29 belt hp, 19.44 db hp, 3166 lbs pull at 2.29 mph. It was standard with 9-38 rear and 5.00-15 front tires. During the war years it was standard with 48 x 2 1/2 steel rear and 42 3/4 steel front wheels. All Case tractors models used the same series of serial numbers through 1953. All serial numbers were seven digit with starting numbers for each year for all case models as follows: 39, 4300000, 40 4400000, 41 4500000, 42 4600000, 43 4700000, 44 4800000, 45 4900000, 46 5000000, 47 5100000, 48 5200000, 49 5300000, 50 5400000, 51 5500000, 52 5600000, 53 5700000. Starting 53 there were variations by models such as; 53 SD 8000000, 53 VA 6000000 etc. Hope this information helps you. Harold H
