Question about movement of antifreeze in radiator

I saw a post recently which said that one of the symptoms of a blown head gasket was bubbles or movement of water in the radiator when the cap was taken off. However I thought that this was also an indicator that there was no thermostat installed. I do not know if either of these statements is correct or not. The reason I am inquiring is that I have always noticed that the antifreeze in the radiator of my MF 65 Gas moves around when the tractor is started. However I know there is no thermostat installed. My tractor starts and runs perfectly for the last year and diplays no symptoms that would make me think the head gasket is blown. Incidentally, other than lack of power what are the other symptoms of a blown head gasket. I don't know why I am looking for trouble when I don't seem to have any. I was just concerned about the movement of water in the radiator after seeing that recent post. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
