I do believe you have just gotten an introduction to color preference! Loyalty seems to be everything in tractors...doesn't it guys? But back to the question. I myself am a Farmall guy (although I just acquired a Massey Harris 30 to restore), but I shall try to be as objective as my color blindness will allow. Around here (north central Ohio) a restored JD B Styled may only fetch you $1000 to $1300. Don't know why, maybe there are too many of them (saturated market) in the area. With the Super H you have two markets. For the 'standard' Super H, you can generally get anywhere from $2000 to $2500 restored. However, if the Super H you have in mind is the last model year, has the live pump, battery box seat (no T/A available...wouldn't that have been sweet?!?!), now you are talking from $3500 to $4000 restored. As far as utility, again, I don't really know JD's, the H is a great 'tweener' tractor. Plenty of power for the beginner. Many add-ons available. Parts are everywhere. All in all, with the proper respect to the 'Green Wave' out there, you probably can't go wrong with either. Flip a coin ... or ask the wife which color she prefers!
