I am probably a pi-- poor person to post here but here goes. Some seeds you can put in the freezer for a month to simulate winter freese. Put in water after thaw scarify (small cut) then start in pot or plant in ground. I have a old tree that small trees pop up every year. When I dig them the roots are about 14' down to and old seed the roots, seem to connect to other small trees. So having said all that, I have had no luck transplanting small trees. Let me know how yours come out. Led
