Well, the deal with a grader is the blade needs to be between the axles to perform the job of grading smooth. I've been looking more at the front of the 961, and how I'm going to mount the big steel extensions, and it's not like the Farmall, or Allis grader extensions. The 961 front end is going to be a bit more complex to stretch out 6 or so feet.
Still looking at this and wondering if it'll do me ok. I also have to find a balance point under the thing so the pressure point is good for both traction and steering, as no leaning wheels. I'll have to give this some more thought. The hyd connections will be the easy part, and the blade tilt won't be too hard but any kind of blade angle might be a challenge unless I can find one of those rotary slider things from an old small grader to put in.
