I'm still thinking about baling some corn stalks bales this year, but my baler doesn't like to kick stalk or damp bales out. Vermeer says these discs need to be in and that will cure that issue.
I figured I could cut one out of an old disc blade, so that was today's project.
This is what the original looks like.
My baler is a 504 super G which is supposed to be able to bale wet, but anything even damp wouldn't come out of the chamber. Hopefully this will help at least for corn stalks.
