Ain't tellen ya for your own safety and others around ya . Sometimes we come up with them HOLD MY BEER and watch this . And sometimes the end results are NOT good. Many years back while working heavy construction we would come on that grease fitting that would not take grease , the way we solved that problem was are you ready for this ?? well here it comes , One of us would walk to or company truck and dig out one electric blasting cap , we would pull the grease fitting out and stuff the cap in the hole then stand back and set it off anyway we could either with the detonator or a Battery on the equipment put the fitting back in and grease away . Problem solved . Worked well MOST TIMES BUT not on the press wheel of a John Deere corn planter to force out the broken stub of the axle. My one friends planter broke the press wheel axle and NO hammering from a four pounder phased it Him also been involved with working the strip mines we both came up with the same idea at the same time and said blasting cap. He just happened to have a BOX or two layen around . Well if one is GOOD then TWO should be better as they would FIT in the HOLE , yea this will shoot that stub out like a rocket . So in two go , twist the wires together add in about FIFTY feet of wire go around the building and open the hood on my truck and touch the wires to the Battery , ya ever heard a 155 go off , yea that about covers it . Yea we showed that broken axle who is the boss . SO Jay and i walk around the building to view or handy work . Ever seen a shotgun barrel blow up , yea that is what it looked like and with the two of us not wrapped real tight we look at each other and said maybe two was a bit much . Nope the axle never moved . Took it down to the local machine shop to get the hub replaced and a new axle made and the machinist looked at it in wonder and said i ain't asken what happened being it is you two ..
