Years ago I got a deep cut on my top lip when changing a seed opener disc. I went to the emergency room that evening, after I had finished planting for the day. They would not stitch it because of legal issues with it being on my face and leaving a scar.
They could legally super-glue it though. Super-glue left a scar too, not a problem in my line of work.
