We were able to visit Rick today. Amazing! He was in surgery for his leg, yesterday. A stainless rod in his leg. He moved from his bed to a chair this morning. We visited him this afternoon. He was in good spirits and is having surgery in the morning on his arm. He is planning to be home by this weekend. Wow! My wife had a similar break in her right leg in 1951. She was in the hospital for a month in traction. That was followed by a body cast from her upper abdomen to her right ankle and to her left knee for 3 months. Medical science!
