I've built a few sheds - the only time we were actually on the roof was to put the ridge cap on - and I sent a young man that bounce up to do that. Put all the screws in from a ladder or a lift a single sheet at a time.
I just finished shingling an old house with a steep roof and after the first hour 2X4s were used with roof brackets to give you a chance to stop yourself when you started sliding. I'm 55 and hate to think what the result would have been with a drop off the edge of that thing. As it is I'm still limping from tearing my meniscus just doing the job. Apparently 50+ year old office workers are not good roofers.
