When Ford turned off the tap supplying skid units to the tractor conversion company's like County, Roadless and MuirHill. County attempted to build their own tractor no longer relying on Ford parts. They had already been building a special for the sugar cane industry, a two wheel drive, high speed tractor using a Perkins 6.354 engine and their own axle parts. This was their attempt at carrying on the equal wheeled four wheel drive range, but things had moved on and tractors like the TW and John Deere ranges of four wheel drive, high horsepower tractors, with more manoeuvrability had taken the market.
