I have a tractor mounted 3 point one, a skidsteer caterpillar one. A skidsteer mounted pounder for wood posts and the evil harbor freight. The tractor one is the most dangerous to people and equipment I dont know why we still own it. If you are doing 30 and its easy ground and have 2 people the pounder is the way to go. Rocks necessitate the screw type. If theres only 10 or so to do or I want to leave it lay at my house along the highway the harbor freight is the way to go. It has a nice clutch actually I was surprised how little it bites you can take it nice and slow and go along a foundation. Earthquake brand I think makes the identical one for a hundred and fifty bucks more and Im not sure they dont make the harbor freight one so it would be from Wisconsin at least assembled there. For planting trees skidloader screw type works great popping a lot of holes in a straight line but in reality its the second to last one we grab since it takes longer to hookup than just grabbing the little one and leaves tracks.
