As I read all the replies to my previous post and thought about it some more I am starting to lean toward a rigid heavy duty 7' 3ph mower. It is only a foot narrower cut than an 8 footer and more maneuverable than a pull type and would still cover my tractor tread. Probably a Woods BB84.50 ( might consider the BB84.40 or 84.60). Options I need opinion on: standard stump jumper or round one. 1 or 2 trailing wheels.
There are several Woods dealers near me so that is why I am considering only them. Does anyone have any really negative things to say about Woods or really have a brand they consider far superior. I could probably save money by finding a good used one but I know how these are used and a good used one would take some time to locate. Anyone want to buy a 30 year old JD 606 rotary mower with a broken spindle?

Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
