Back in 1958 when I was about 17, a girl in my class drove a '56 Buick that belonged to her Dad.
One day, a guy who owned a nice '57 Buick was hanging around and Arlene asked if she could take his car for a ride. He said sure but did not give her the key.
She put her Dad's car key in the ignition and drove right off.
We were all taken by surprise but mostly the owner of the '57 because he was very particular about his nice Buick and didn't let anybody drive it.
