I drive my pickup into an old shed, and take the keys out, and put them in a hidden location within the shed. You would search a long time to find them if I didnt tell you where to look. This way if I am out in the yard and I need the truck, I dont have to head to the house for keys or have to worry about loosing them. Years ago I never took keys out of my old farm truck , but they opened a Casino on the Reservation just down the road from where we lived then. One morning after chores I noticed my truck wasnt in the yard. Turned up on the street in nearby city, found by police. It had a parking ticket and was towed to an impound lot, and out of gas too. Carpentry tools that were in the cab were gone but truck was unharmed. Costly lesson, but could have been worse
