OK here is an 80 year old man,s advise for whatever it is worth , you do as you please...BUT a u-<>tube video is a long way from experience. first of all it takes a few special tools but a LOT of <>experience to tear that pump down and know what to use and what is bad. Do not know how many folks <>I have seen over the years junk a pump from thinking they could do it. I am in no way connected to <>dieseltech but I can tell you that would be your best bet if you ever plan on getting this engine <>running. Used pull off injection pumps from say an engine like that running and went down bring $750+ just as fast as junk yards can find them. Again just free advise
