That's right.David Brown did have Selectomatic.Ford had,Selectospeed.Otherwise known as Jerk-O-Matic.I had one in a Ford backhoe.I bought it expecting to replace the transmission,but with a new cable it worked fine.I had a pre-concieved hatred for that transmission,but I used it for a few years and sold it still working.That was in 1988 and I still see the guy plowing his driveway with it.I'm kind of afraid to stop and ask him how it has worked out.There's more than a few that love them and have gotten a lot of use out of them.
