White smoke means low compression on one or more cylinders. Get it running and warmed up, then with engine at idle speed loosen each injector line nut one at a time, any that lowers/stops the white smoke is the suspect cylinder. Engine compression test with all injectors out would be a good idea too, should be 350 PSI or higher for best running.
