I wouldn't trust the stack too far, either. They are a lot more likely to stay standing if you tie the layers together by stacking one direction and then the other. It doesn't look like this stacker does that. Stacked a few in the day. We mostly did the small AC round bales but we rarely stacked them outside. People complained about them being hard to stack but after getting used to them I preferred stacking round bales on a wagon (with end supports) and in the barn. Plus, the round bales wouldn't break even if they didn't get tied. :)
